System examples
- Commercial premises. A visitor ground floor entry door with a reception area on another floor level. The Panasonic video and audio door entry system provides a communication push button upon arrival at the door and a good quality colour picture back to reception with two way talk button and a door entry release. A Magnet lock release or similar will allow the door to open and close / lock automatically with a push button door release for visitor exit and an emergency override. The benefits of this system is to allow audio and visual confirmation of visitors, and a convenience to reception.
- Domestic premises. The same system can be used to permit access without leaving the room or chair. This is ideal for persons living alone requiring medical or other assistance.
- Student or small accommodation areas. An easy system includes a key card entry for entry using proximity detection. Once the permitted key holder ends to accommodation arrangement the entry card can be deleted from the approved register. A "one to one" entry request to the room occupier using audio can be added to permit access.
- Apartments. An executive style audio access control with colour or monochrome camera with communication from the main entry point to each apartment with a door entry release from each apartment. Options include surface mounted or flush mounting internal or external waterproofed systems.
- Permitted group access systems. An entry point release by proximity detector to all holders of the designated detector held close to the "fob or card" reader to release the door.
- Computer controlled access. Using a computer and a network system changes to controlled features can be up dated with the minimum of time.
- Biometric access. Using an increasingly accepted higher security level a computer will store "Iris" information from approved personnel. An approved visitor will use the Eye viewer to gain access to the premises. The computer will add or delete approvals.
