DAB and Digital Tuners

DAB radio or digital audio broadcast radio delivers high quality digital radio signals. Most FM and MW radio channels are now broadcast over Digital Radio networks. Pure make the Highway DAB unit which is an add on unit compatible with most car radio CD tuners. Other manufacturers include JVC, Blaupunkt and Sony. DAB tuners and radios require a separate aerial which are often supplied with the units and can stick on the glass or can be body mounted. Digital Radio broadcast the radio text on the display of the DAB products for information on the channel, song, DJ and even traffic information.
